Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested. For ease-of-reading, this document has been separated into headings. These headings are not legally binding and are only used for reference purposes.

The Information We Collect:

This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the Connections Student Ministries’ website. On some pages, you can make requests and register to receive materials. The types of personal information collected at these pages are:

The Way We Use Information:

We use the information you provide about yourself when filling out contact forms and other interactions only for the purposes of getting in contact with you or providing the service you have requested. We only use this information as necessary to continue contact with you, update our personal records, or provide the service requested to you. This information is never shared with outside parties.

We use the information you provide about someone else for contacting that person pertaining to the request or providing the service you requested. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete the request. In addition, the email addresses of third parties are never added to a mailing list or contact list of any type without their express, written consent. Please see the definition of express, written consent as it pertains to this website.

We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

You can register with our website if you would like to receive our  updates on our new important announcements and news pieces. Information you submit on our website will not be used for this purpose unless you fill out the registration form. Important: This policy does not govern the Facebook Terms of Use or the Twitter Terms of Use. Use of the Facebook Connect or Twitter Connect services are governed by that particular sites Terms of Use which should be checked on their websites.

We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website. For example, we collect information pertaining to what number of individuals visited a certain area on our website, or that Y number of men and Z number of women filled out our registration form, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.

Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

Our Commitment To Data Security

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Information you share with us may only be accessed by staff of North Greenwood Baptist Church, our parent organization, on a need-to-know basis. The personal information you share with us is stored in a different location as the files that operate this website. These files are not directly accessible by accessing this website. Rest assured, your information is safe with us.

Our Commitment To Children’s Privacy:

Protecting the privacy of the young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13. If you are aware that your child has accessed this website and is under the age of 13, we encourage you to contact us and let us know. We will promptly disallow access, if need be, to your child’s account, if one has been created. You may contact us by using the Contact link located on this website. How You Can Access Or Correct Your Information

You can access all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain by logging into your personal access account with us. This account is accessible by visiting http://www.ngbcstudents.com/wp-login.php. Please note that you will need to have the username you registered with and your current password. When creating a new account, a temporary password is emailed to the address your provide. If you do not have this information, please use the lost password feature integrated into the login page. We use this procedure to better safeguard your information.

You can correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by sending us a request that credibly shows error.

To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.
