How To Help Haiti Victims

Most of you have most likely heard of the disaster that has struck the country of Haiti in past days. Most of you have most likely also received text messages or emails telling you to donate to the relief effort. However, what most of you probably haven’t done is donate. The relief agencies assisting in the disaster recovery efforts cannot do this on their own.
Connections Student Ministries does have a preferred and trusted donations partner for international missions – Samaritan’s Purse. The name Samaritan’s Purse may sound a bit familiar because this is the same international missions organization that organizes Operation Christmas Child each and every year. Most of you have donated shoeboxes. This is an agency that can be trusted to do the right thing and we encourage you to do the right thing by helping them help the disaster struck peoples of Haiti.
